Complior Analyse ®
Introduction
Complior is a simple, rapid, reliable and reproducible method for the recording of carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (PWV) and central pressure from the carotid artery.
The system does not make use of estimation nor mathematical modelling, as it uses direct and simultaneous recording of pulse waves.
With a total of four sensors, it is possible to measure PWV on three different arterial segments in a single acquisition
The measurement can be performed even in patients with arrhythmia.
In the scientific literature, Complior is often referred to as the gold-standard for the assessment of PWV.
